About ROBO Testing Inc.

In today’s economy, it is common for there to be too many projects for the number of employees on hand. To hire part time, qualified people is difficult, and hiring more staff full time is a large commitment with uncertain payback. That is where ROBO Testing Inc. comes in.

ROBO Testing was formed in 2004 by Rob Olsen A.Sc.T. both to fill a need in the industry and to take the opportunity to do what he has a passion to do: design and test equipment in the agricultural market. ROBO Testing Inc. contracts to various manufacturers to fulfill requirements in design, testing and evaluation for both experimental and production equipment.

Rob Olsen’s background is a certified Mechanical Engineering Technologist with 7 years heading up a testing program at CNH Saskatoon (flexi-coil/New Holland), 3 years as a canola crush plant supervisor, and since the fall of 2003 as an independent, contract testing/design for a number of manufacturing firms (CNH, Rem, Brandt, NCQ, Stewart Steel…). Contracts have ranged from testing, to design, to full management of projects right through to sales and service. Contracts have also included manufacturing / fabrication in ROBO Testing Inc.’s facility.
